Took 2 hours to remove the plugs!

BUMP! 
 

It seems as if the fuel pump is bad. Not getting any vacuum pressure. Could there be any other issue down the line?? 
where is the fuel level sender? In the tank? 
Fuel gauge is reading 1/4 tank but maybe it’s empty…..

Well the first thing is if it didn't fire on the starting fluid you still have a ignition problem. As to the fuel system the pickup/sender is on top of the tank below the trumk boards and while your back there replace all the rubber fuel hoses and the plastic sleve on the tank outlet, everything needs to be air tight and clamped, the fuel pump is not going to pull much vacuum just turning it over on the starter.

If everybody in the room is thinking the same thing, then someone is not thinking.
