Do I need the relay connected to the ballast resistor?

Do I need the relay connected to the ballast resistor(that I've removed) if I am using blue coil and 123 Bluetooth dizzy? Everything else is pretty much stock on my 73'

I've also removed all the smog stuff if that's important ( lemme know if you want it)

That relay takes the ballast resistor out of the circuit when cranking to give a hotter spark, if the resistor has been removed it no longer has any purpose.

Yeah you can remove it. The 123 and the coil can take direct power from the fuse box.
