Trans mount bushing height.

Can someone confirm the height of the stock and E21 bushings? Both 32mm?

IIRC they're within a few mm of each other if not the same.  And a couple of mm won't make that much difference. 

 

You can also use the larger-than-stock mount from a Bavaria...

I can't locate the measurement of the E21 trans mount but do have "before & after" pictures that may help. New mount looks to be a tad taller when installed.

The original mount was rather squishy and compressed so couldn't compare actual dimensions to the new E21.

I have a freshie from Blunt.  Measures 33mm.  Way better than the stock '02 mount for sure.  The gelatin coating might be adding a mm

Just measured a URO at 32.05mm and a Febi at 33.25mm.

Important to me would be the height after both are loaded with the same weight.  Comparing "out of the box" dimension means ????

I suspect you'll find that height after loading is a function of time...

Subjectively, the E21 mount hardly deforms, whereas the 2002 mount compresses several mm- initially.
