Any of you have opinions or comments re:  "Bosch Premium 100% Remanufactured Starter" offered today by Maximillian?  Quality?  Good deal?

These are not the popular and lighter weight M starters, are they?

Thanks.

Yes, not the smaller, lighter weight M starters, stock OEM rebuilds.

What is the "smaller, lighter weight M starter"?  I'd like to add this to my potential future parts source list.  Thanks!

SR-440X and SR-441X I believe are the two most common ones.

In the Bosch world: SR: starter, X: Exchange (AL: alternator)

Sr-440x is the M starter. The smallest and lightest, but basically impossible to get.

Sr-441x is a 5 series starter. Sized in the middle between the m starter and the OEM starter. Can still be bought. Aftermarket versions start at $80

I agree with the 5 series starter. I picked on up from DBelectrical like 7 years ago and it's been awesome! They seem to sell de-branded starters, but they're high quality in my opinion. I highly recommend them.
