About to do some scouting.  There are a couple of donut shops in Bellingham, but I am told that Haggens Market on 12th in Fairhaven has really good ones, and it’s right next door to the defunct diner I mentioned previously.  More to come on that and suggestions welcome.  Ken

Y’all, I’ll be at the defunct diner on 12th St in Fairhaven, the one next to the Haggens Market with the flying Ford Fairlane, starting at 9 am tomorrow with some coffee and donuts.  Look forward to seeing whoever can make it.  Ken

Thanks for coming out, guys.  I enjoyed meeting y’all, and giving you an excuse to run Chuckanut Drive.  I look forward to trading tips and one day getting one of my cars out here for a long stay.  

 

Forgot to mention that I am working my on several fronts to get to know Bellingham better.  Did I mention I love to fish?  Yesterday was an extended Chinook season (day), and some friends of my daughter invited me out. Guess what’s for dinner tonight:

The Nooksack opens for coho this coming week, and I may go flyrod exploring.  If any of you guys like to fish….
