Can anyone confirm this is the correct airbox for my 73 tii?

Yes, the ‘72 model year U.S.-spec airbox has the vapor recovery nipple. 1972 and 1973 U.S.-spec airboxes are identical.

 

Below, circled in green, is the U.S.-only vapor recovery nipple.
