Has anyone fitted a Southern Rods Aircon system?

Recommended Posts

I was trying to get as narrow as possible to keep the glovebox and hide as much as possible. Went back and forth with this and the hurricane unit which is much less wide but taller…may need to beat down the trans tunnel

fornthat one.
Lot of accessories from the company too  to make it work and they have been around a long time.

Right you are 12hrs behind.  Was wondering why you were on line same time as me.

You and the world will be a lot further behind if Trump gets back in!

Isn't there anyone else younger in political life in the US?  lol...

Highnote 1  "I would just add two vents, one in each of the old hvac holes for a total of 4".

Which vents do you think would fit in the holes?

I roughly measured the holes tonight and they are about 110mm wide x 30mm high.

The smallest rectangular vent I have found by Vintage Air is the 49356-VUL which measures 3.875”98.3mm x 1.562”39.6mm.  Have you found a smaller vent or do Heatercontrolspaceforvent.jpg.f419e148052ff1f3d61c272215f00c4d.jpgyou intend to cut the dash larger?

regards

Mike

I’ll have to dig around again but I found some that fit. If needed I may have make a small backer piece out of abs but it will be easy. I’ll send a link when I can. Try oldairproducts.com. I think that is where they were.
