Found front strut cap needed

Hello, I'm looking for a front strut cap, black color preferred.

You can still buy them new although they may be gray rather than black.  Somewhat like the Bosch red coil which you can still buy new but is no longer red. Lol 

I have several good black strut caps.

yes, I was in touch with Steve at Blunttech and found out they no longer sell the black ones. I'd prefer a black one to match the existing one so if you have a decent one, please let me know how much. thanks!

FYI, be very careful when installing either black or grey caps on new upper strut mounts.  The lip that retain the cap is significantly wider than it was on the original mounts, and will split your cap if you try to force it on.

 

I found that out the hard way, even after trimming the lip.  I did come up with a McGyver fix, though, PM me if you'd like a copy of the column.
