6x13 Minilite vs. Compomotive ML1362

Recommended Posts

Trying to figure out a second set of 13's for my 2002. I was able to score a set of Borrani's earlier this year, but thinking about adding a set of minilite style wheels to my hoard. The minilites are et28 and the compomotive wheels are et24. Which would you guys choose?

I think we need lots of pictures of both types in this thread…… you know just to be sure😁

Ha! I second that but unfortunately don't have any to share. Compo's appear pretty uncommon and a lot of the "minilite" style wheel photos are 14 and 15

'minilite style' is just too vague to mean much.

Panasports are awesome.  Westerns suck.  There are a few varieties in- between.  Including Minilite and Superlite.

I tend to pick the highest  offset, knowing that I have a butt- ton of spacers if needed.

If the wheel sits too far out, that's a lot harder to fix.  That said, either wheel at 6" is going to fit just fine.

when motive needed, Compo not so shabby.

Ah.  I'd go Minilite, then.  But I'm a sucker for the spoked look...

Does anyone have photos they can share?

Searching the Stants tread only shows other model Compos:

… and a few Minilites.

some other 13x6:

Oddly neither 13x6 wheel is listed/shown the the FAQ Wheels db…

Sounds like you should get a set and post ‘em up! 😋

ps: to help you decide, this trick always works: Flip a coin to select your winner! When the coin is in the air, you’ll ‘know’ which one you really want..
