Mine is hot barf.  I haven't found anything to take off the yellow coating on the paint in my engine bay.   Maybe C02 blasting, but still, it is like pissing on a spark plug.   War games...

But I have nice-looking meat.  If we ever have a post about that.

This was my last project, a 65 Volvo Amazon. Not perfect, but made me happy. It was caked in oil/dirt everywhere.

Cookie Monster has a long way to go, but I have almost as much happiness just knowing I have the work to do.

Yours has such excellent provenance.  It even has the original round relays.  I love to see it completed.  What is that stuff by the dizzy on the fender?  CD ignition?

Super tidy Amazon.  I found one when poking around the internet the other day.   I like the shape of them.

Jeez, I believe that's a Jensen mag coil, I haven't seen one of those since the 60's, it was a not to successful attempt to integrated electronic boost and a coil.

Bravo Ken,,,,, and I went to the trouble of finding good quality ones that had just the right amount of patina that essentially matched the originals, most of which (the originals that is) came with the car......hmmmmn.  Not a big fan of AN fittings and such but it is what it is and probably more appropriate on cars raced in the US.

When I restored the Hyde Park #34, the goal was to get it close to a period-correct race car look (including using a windshield washer fluid bottle as an overflow tank). -KB
