Description:

Restored US-market headlight buckets with fresh hardware and mixed-vintage Cibie Z-beams.  Sale includes the following:

• L & R headlight buckets that have been media blasted and freshly plated (8mil zinc)
• Updated adjuster hardware with all new knobs, springs, and fasteners (Ireland Engineering)
• LHD Cibie Z-beams, in "driver" condition:
  • One has a "20" indication on the glass (later production), marked as made in France. Glass shows no pitting or hazing, reflector is perfect, and Lamin-X film has been applied
  • One has a "19" indication on the glass, marked as made in France, and is equipped with the internal bulb shade. Glass is intact with small chips on left side of rear; there is some hazing of the reflector, with some delamination on the left side. A test drive surprisingly did not reveal any perceived impact to performance (these are just really good lights!)
• H4 60/55W halogen bulbs included - one is a Narva, the other appears to be a Koito.
• Retainer rings - completely solid, no corrosion, but were at one point painted satin black (for a late model) and would benefit from either a respray or complete strip.  Functional, but aesthetics need minor work.

 

Asking $325 OBO, including shipping anywhere in CONUS.  Simply trying to make some room on my shelves and recoup some of the cost of the new hardware and plating here.
