Accelerator Pedal Floor Mount

Recommended Posts

I've been looking for an accelerator pedal solution because my original mount was removed with rotted floor pans. I have access to CAD at my job and decided to create a replacement via sendcutsend.com. The bracket cost me $40.

I purchased these ball studs for the pedal https://www.mcmaster.com/4246N13/ for $8. The threads will need to be shortened slightly.

I just got the part in the mail and it exceeds my expectations. I wanted to share with the community. I have the original CAD file attached as well as a cart from sendcutsend so you can order your own.

Nice job!  Also good to know about the threaded ball mounts.  I discovered the throttle linkage on my Snapper riding lawnmower used those same (or similar) threaded sockets, so figured I could get 'em from a Snapper dealer if necessary, but your source is a lot more direct.

Fortunately mine haven't rusted...yet.

Send cut send is a great place to get parts done.   Is there a way that we can share the 2002 projects via send-cut-send's website?

Yessir. That’s the sendcutsend url in his link. You open that and then place the order. Or do you mean a collective bucket to place all this stuff? I’ve been thinking of creating a 3D printing file link thread. Maybe it could be a 3D printing and sendcutsend thread to collect all the stuff like this.
