Fuel pressure problem, in-line filters explode

I've been having trouble with the factory(mahle)

in-line fuel filters blowing on my tii. The bottom

panel pops off. I now use other, Bosch, filters, but I

am not sure if I should worry about the super

pressure. Could it be the pressure maintenance

valve / damper valve? Or should I not even worry

about it?

Check for proper operation of the pressure maintenance valve/filter on the rear of the F/I pump. Also for possible obstructions in the fuel return line. Or maybe even a kink in the line from the filter to the banjo connection on the front of the pump.

thanks. I'll check all three of these things. I'm also

having doubts about the functionality of the filter

inside the banjo connection, because it looks bad.

I need another one.
