There is a pair on eBay right now, including the rubber bands. Opening bid is $50.

List is about $8 each for the caps and $3 each for the straps.

Should be Part # 63 12 8 650 140 listed as "Covering Cap". I don't see a on the drawing for the rubber band, but they list a "Rubber Ring" that could possibly be it Part # 63 12 1 351 414.

Yeah, I guess that ebay price is pretty crazy!

Sometimes I watch stuff just to see if someone bids, maybe I should add those and see.

I bought at the dealer, but they wouldn't fit.

The wire harness going to the headlight was not long enough to route through the notch in the metal body so the that "dog bowl" would lay properly.

My '76 is stock.

USA headlight housing as there are holes around the edges that will allow water in. Also you'll either have to re-route the headlight wires or cut a hole in those pricy covers to get the wires to the headlights after installing the covers. I bought a set not too long after I bought my '69 and discovered the above. if you can get some Euro headlight housings then the covers will work fine.
