I need a new Oil Filler Cap!

I just had my valve cover powder coated with flat black wrinkle finish. I painted it years ago but it was looking a little tired!

I'd like a better looking filler cap for it now. Anyone have pictures of nice looking caps and info on where to get them? My old one was nickel plated but is all pitted. Chrome would look good! Don't want to go with cheesy stock one! TIA...

Use a wire/nylon brush on a drill or grinder to clean it up, then use diff. grades of sandpaper to smooth it out, run it thru the dishwasher, buff to shine and paint with high quality clear satin gloss spraypaint. This should look nice against the silver on black cover. I just cleaned up one that looked really horrible.

How come it doesn't have the snorkel on the nose?

I filled it in with some sheet metal when I restored the car! Looks nice don't you think?

Hmmm... Never thought of that! Although, I need to get a new gasket as well, leaks like a sieve!
