What do you Roundie guys use to attach the grill to the body

Recommended Posts

Squarie cars use plastic body nuts pressed into the sheetmetal. RealOEM says the body nuts for the Roundie are NLA. Anybody have a PN or pic?

Thanks

body nut for grills up to '73: 07129925705

Or click and paste all of this:

EDIT:

Here's a picture of a common body nut found on consoles, under-dash panels etc. You could cut off the marked area with a dremel to make it the same size as the "special, NLA" bodynut.

tabs (on the body) that align with the four screw holes in the grilles. Each clip has a sheet metal screw (use stainless steel ones) that screws in. And in the outboard centers, near the headlights, there's the J hook.

The metal clips are available at any hardware store, meant for sheet metal screws. Try and find stainless steel ones if you can.

Speed clips and have the sheet metal screws called Johnson head or some name like that in stainless and chrome.

I also found a j-hook thing there also that I used.
