Help!! emergency parking brake mount broken

Is there a replacement part that can be welded into place for the parking brake mount? And where can it be purchased.

mine had snapped also, i took it into a local machine shop and after one of the guys looked at it took about two seconds to weld the tabs back down. He added a little piece of angle metal they had to shore it up. I recommend just taking it in and seeing what they can do. Hope this helps

Ditto......forgot I had a emergency brake. Low gear or reverse still can't hold it back on a very steep hill. of course the car parked ahead of you can stop you from rolling, but it will take it's toll on the grille....

by one from another model. I think it was from the E12. If so, the part number is probably 41-12-1-863-879. Welding required.

Cahsels in Germany sell them - see pic, but you could cut one from an E21, and weld in, I fixed mine with some 1" angle and some rivits (no welder). Beaner7102
