Double agreed here. The BMW dealer near my house used to come to Hooters and they had never heard of a 2002 the first time I told them about mine and showed the tattoo. The auto parts store used to be the same but now they know Karl by name, so they always have to pull out the big parts book, balancing between E21 and 2002. Fun times.
