Mid-Atlantic owners, who is still driving their cars?

Since my cars are stored in the salt capital of the NE (wayyy upstate NY), the cars sit in the garage from first salting (can be Nov, sometimes as late as Jan) to probably March. The salt here is insane. Some of the back roads have trees/other plant life on the side of the road that are dead because of all the salt.

I've driven my '76 at temps as cold as 0 to -10F. Heater works ok at that temp. I temporarily modified the foot air vent to redirect the air out in the passenger cabin by using a couple of air tubes and plastic vents from an old Behr unit. It worked surprisingly well.
