exhaust help !!

I have decided that after Christmas I am going to do the exhaust so I am going to get a fritz bits 4 into 1 branch manifold and then get a custom made stainless steel exhaust made from the 4 into 1 all the way back. In the process I hope to get a much nicer sound but not to noisey.

The big question is how big do I make the pipe on the exhaust ?

I was thinking 2 ½ inches may be 3 inches ?

What Do you Advise?

Regards James

P.S.

I got my strut bar from Jaymic and fitted it. Look the business and does defiantly help.

After reading Corky Bells "Maximum Boost" a 2 1/4" system is good for up to 200hp, and 2 1/2" 500hp (see page 133). Don’t go to 3" you will slow down the exhaust gas velocity too much and rob you of all low end torque and power. That’s my learned opinion. Beaner7102
