Does anyone have a link to the original article? I have searched and even the mighty google has fallen. Im sure there was a pdf floating around a couple of years ago!!

Take a look at the 'third picture in' on the top row.

Id say their machine press needs re-alligning.

Pick up a copy of BMW 2002 Gold Portfolio 1968-1976,

Brookland Books, ISBN 1 85520 2204. It is a compilation of all the magazine articles and road test from all the major press of the day including David E Davis' original.

I was 17yrs old and living just down the road from The Glen reading everything and following all the new cars back then. While I didn't own an '02 for 30 yrs, I never forgot that article. I was poor and had a lot of the 60's to work thru. Still waiting for all those flash-backs they promised me!
