I ordered a set of Cocomats (Black with Blue Dots)

For those interested I did a little research, and received two samples of cocomats, and the ones manufactured by www.cocomats.com (Natural Auto Products, LLC in South Carolina) are the best I've ever seen...not cheap but appear to have superior quality - tight woven, full & thick fabric, and a thick rubber backing.

Thanks to whomever on this board recommended them to me.

Anxiously awaiting their arrival in a few weeks. I plan to put them in "Atlantik" - my '73tii (Atlantik with black interior) - should look sharp!

John,

I have used their mats for my last 3 cars.In my tii I have the black with

white dots. They wear well and the rubber backing holds them in place

nicely.

I've got my eye on the black w/grey dots (#53) for my Polaris car with black interior.

The all-black ones don't seem to stay clean-looking for some reason.

I remember having black w/orange dots on my "Clementine" orange '71 Super Beetle (1302).

Cheers!

Jeff of Cocomats is a class act. As I reported in an earlier thread, the Cocomats for Otis did not fit, because I failed to take into account (or tell Jeff about) the kick-panel speaker pods. Jeff took the mats back and trimmed them, for free, no questions asked.

BTW, I have the all-black for Otis (Colorado with black interior).

Armond:

I think it depends on personal preference. As for me, I like the dots to match or blend well with the exterior color of the car...or accent other colors used in your car's appearance.

Black interior is probably the "easiest" interior color to compliment cocomats with IMHO.
