Howdy Rich,

BCI size code is 26R for a tii, and it's slightly smaller than a 2002 battery. A size 42 is the correct size for a 2002. (The R means the posts are reversed from a regular Group 26)

If you’re interested in the OEM stuff the BMW Battery For All 2002's is

Part Number 61.21.7.567.181 and it runs for about $85.
