Just about finished cutting the parts car today

I spent all day cutting this thing up, saving parts I need for the stash, frame rails, rear quarters, shock towers, rear seat support, tranny support mounts, etc.

Tomorrow, I cut the floor section into three parts and haul it to the dump.

Makes the wife happy! I am whipped....

The pic above looks like some kind of wacky 02 fanatic trap. All that's missing is Elmer Fudd hiding behind a bush with a pair of DCOE's tied to a string under the 4x4....

It did fall on me once - but there is not much weight when they are in this shape. Even as an old guy, I was able to lift this car around, prop it up on one side then the other and lift it on and off of the jack stands. Maybe it is old man strength - that is what the boyz call it......

You learn a lot about these cars when you take one apart. You can clearly see why they rust where they do.

CD - I hear you, however, to save this car it would have cost me money and to use parts of it for the rusting yellow little car, it saved me money. Easy decision for me.

you have some kind of heavy duty plasma cutter there! The wood ram is not too shabby either!

It will cut 1/2 plate they say.

The 4x4 is one of the cross supports for the "poor boy" lift I use to support my car when it is the air.

i could have used that plasma cutter a couple years ago when i was choppin' up the parts car.
