Just scored a set of 5.5" x 13" Borani Steelies with good rubber...

A little bit of sanding, paint and some new lugnuts will make these a nice retro-grade for my '74tii, "Mae West."

Now all I need is a set of Alpina centercaps and I'm good to go.

Yeeeeee-haaaaaa!!!!

Nice score! There was a set on ebay just recently, but the reserve wasn't met. I always liked those for steelies.

Surely you're not gonna replace the minilites on Orange Julius are you?

If you're like me, you'll horde them....for a rainy day. :-)

aaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!

i saw those on Craigslist this morning and i couldn't get my fingers on the phone fast enough.....

i called within 30 minutes of his posting so you must of been right on them after he posted.

you stole them at $60 for all four plus tires.

i left a voicemail offering the guy $100 for them.

nice purchase. i'll never be able to look at Mae West the same now.....

cheers

Not replacing anything on "Orange Julius", but I couldn't help myself on these.

They were a mile and a half away and cost about the price of a cheap pair of shoes.

The 205/60-13 Dunlop GT Qualifiers (plus one Falken) are bit muscle-car-ist for my tastes, but it's good tread.

These are HEA-VY!!!

Might horde them, might put them on Mae West... dunno...

Cheers!

Yeah, I'd try them on Mae West....I missed that comment before. Probably not a "period correct" on a square taillight '02, but I've been known to switch things around a bit as well! :-)

windshield washer bottle with pump and sensor for my E30 for $4.99 at our local P&P. Also discovered that the last 02 in a local yard had been crushed. A rusty 75 but still had some salvagable stuff...

Yard still has a M10-engined 318 if anyone's interested in the manifold and other injection stuff.
