Blue Springs? Gold Springs?

I know the aftermarket guys painted their springs different colors. (My Rancho Suspension bits on my '85 Chevy S10 were red).

I just picked up a set of blue front/rear springs and am curious as to which supplier painted their springs blue.

And then I wonder who painted their springs gold?

i'm about to reinstall a set of gold-colored springs on my latest project and these removed from a scrapped car i had. they are from Suspension Techniques and are essentially the same as ST's current offerings, just a different 80's era color scheme.

very dark blue = H&R

gold = Suspension Techniques

Gold linear i.e. not progressive = Miller & Norburn, different rates to choose from. can't ever tell which rate though.

Light powder blue = early Suspension Techniques.... 70's.... poor quality... they go flat/sag.

Dark blue linear = Dinan

My H&R's from '95 are black w/ H&R and part # in white.
