This is pretty amazing...$100 for a tool kit?

Spotted this tool bag the other day... I thought this thing was really cool for the price... Maybe not for the purist(?), but still very affordable and it looks like good craftsmanship.

many of the tools in the original 2002 kit are in kits from later BMWs, made by Heyco. And any upholstery shop can sew you up a tool bag with an original one, pictures and/or dimensions to go by.

And BTW the OEM vinyl tool bags apparently came in several colors--I suspect they were made from leftover scraps in the upholstery shop. My '69 has a grey bag; my '73 a tan one--and they're both original...

I wonder who ended up with Michel Potheau's stash of stuff?

IIRC his brother had the cars and parts stash. His diecast and memorabilia collection was being sold piece by piece on eBay by this seller :
