140mph speedo

A 140 MPH speedo is from a UK RHD 2002tii.  Remember that the UK hasn't adopted the metric system like the rest of the continent.

In respect to miles, yes, but for other measurements and temperature we're/they're metric. Miles/hr go with RHD? (mostly)

Here’s mine that I put in my 73’Tii

note the cross hairs which indicates a later model gauge. Had it rebuilt and calibrated to my wheels, tires & diff..

Hmm...

And what made the tourings so damned fast, rendering a 120-mph speedometer useless? ???

Could this just be a bit of... marketing? ?

Best regards,

Steve

Steve,

The swept back windshield and the Hamm-ish tail, steering wheel on the correct side. Only RHD Touring Owners know the truth.....?
