Just got an "Inca" 2002 from a friend who got it from his dad who got it from a friend who got it at an auction. Dont know much about'em. First one I've seen up close. There doesn't seem to be too many in Canada. Will post pictures when I have a chance.

Looks familiar. Looks very original too...even has the radio.

Also looks like we've got some of the same body work ahead of us...fender lips...nose panel. How does she look underneath? what about some engine pics? You're gonna love it once you drive it.

The engine does turn over, but I noticed that the valve cover has been sitting loose for about 7-13 years(judging by receipts I found in the car) so I looked underneath and everything seems to be there just don't know why it is loose. Underneath it looks pretty much rust free. I'm suprised, these are really solid cars for being only 2100 lbs. I'll see if I can post some pictures of the engine and maybe underneath the car. I hear that they are pretty fun to drive so I do look forward to it.

Sorry about the late reply, have been a bit busy. I just got my 280Z running last weekend. I think it should only take an afternoon to do it(cleaning lines, oil etc) I will see if I can get her going early to mid next month.

I know it isn't early to mid september but I managed to get the '02 running! In a grand total of two hours I managed to start the thing. A huge cloud of who knows what comes out in the first ten minutes but when it settles down it runs really good. Doesn't burn oil, sputter, or backfire. Even on the old fuel that was in the tank! Tomorrow I hope to actually drive it when I replace the clutch slave cylinder and change the oil. Like you said, tough little engines.

It now drives! I went 80mph with no problem at all. Had to put a clutch slave cylinder on it so now it goes. Need to bleed the brakes (found out after going 80...I should probably have tested them at lower speeds :)
