This is my tii. I'm only own it since two weeks but I'm more happy each day.

The car is in real good condition but my idea it's rebuild it perfectly, and give it a perfomance in mechanical.

I hope you'll understand me, my english is very poor.

that battery looks like it could power an electric submarine. can't imagine how much lead it contains.

and welcome to the 02 world. You will be happy with this one for the next 35 years. It looks like it is in very good shape. The battery is strange and too close to the air box.

I have been to Spain a couple times and never saw an older car. You must have one of the few 2002's in your country! Please post more pictures, especially your amazing roads.

Don't worry about the language, we all speak Gearhead here, and understand you perfectly :-)

Hi,

This is a great post - I can feel the love you have for your new car, and also see Antonio's pride and love in the car he loved for 35 years. What a great story and excellent photos.

I too love the "survivors" - it looks like original paint and nose and has probably a 1,000 stories to tell. I bet he would enjoy a photo or two as you have new adventures...

Thanks for the post!

Jason
