Came with the car. First time the kit has been opened.

Car had a birthday yesterday, a 71 with an 72 vin. It left the Munich delivery room with this in it. We then drove to Innsbruck.

A radiator shop is a good place to take a leak.

I have no idea what I'm doing but I know I'm really good at it.

My warning triangle has a blue case. Is your yellow case original?

No this one is for an E30. I purchased it from a BMW Dealer in Holland. It was for my E30 325 that I took to there. It fits perfectly in the slot for the accessory bin that goes on top of the battery box in an E30. That car is long gone but now that accessory bin is in my E30ix.

German law requires all vehicles to have a warning triangle and first aid kit. Now all you need is the warning triangle like this one.

My e38 came with a very nice first aid kit. I was pleasantly surprised when I started cleaning the car the first time and found it. I've used it a couple of times too on outings with friends and family during hikes when people have cut themselves. Never thought it would be that useful, but it has been.

Hell yes.

I have a pretty thorough kit in my 02 as we use it for the vintage rallies. I keep smaller kits in the wife's 328 and in the M3.

I also have kits in the tandem and a few items in each of the repair kits on all my bicycles. Even our day packs for going on short hikes or festivals have first aid and safety items including space blankets and whistles.

They see use every now and then. Fortunately it has been mostly for minor cuts and scrapes, but it is nice to have when you need it.
