your vintage 2002 photos

hello there,

i am a 2002 owner and a graphic design student.

i am starting in on a book project about 2002's and their owners...

if anyone has an old photograph of your 2002 or you with your 2002 (or neue klasse car), preferrably from the 70's or 80's, it would really add so much to this project.

it would be easiest just to recieve high-resolution uncropped scans but if you are interested in contributing to this project i can give you more details.

of course, if you help me in this way i can definately give you a copy of the book or relevant spreads of the book.

i am really excited about this project and i hope at least just a few of you would be interested in helping me!

(also, if you have scans of old ephemera, i would accept that too!)

to clarify: even family-photo style shots would be great and even preferrable. you posing in front of your car with your kids, your parents, on a sunday drive, etc...

also, if you have personal stories about your 2002, how you came to purchase it, how and why you fell in love with it or the cars in general, THAT would be amazing.

on any photos you use. It's possible for you to be given photos where the provider is not the copyright owner. Is this a for-profit book or a student project? I believe this is the type of vintage shot you'd like (and you can't use it) . . .

They're around. Never made of the highest quality, but the design is timeless...just look at some of the current wheel patterns...quite similar!

I sold this set last year to an 02-er in Australia.
