I'm sure your usual BMW parts supplier will have a rebuild kit for the solex, if not Walloth and Nesch in the mother land have them in stock. Bought one for mine as she was running real rough, but it turned out to be a vacuum leak from the brake booster and the carb was in perfect condition.

I may even have a kit for one of those carbs.... and my GF wants me to clean the house.... come on honney the bathroom is a perfectly acceptable place to rebuild 1 carb to make 2.......

(thank god she is a car chick and puts up with my parts all over the house......)

The kit is $20 from most parts stores. Royze makes those. The kit is SO-43K, it has everything except the float. The only problem was that the 2 idle jets supplied with the kit were different and I resorted to using the original. 99% of these carbs only need new gaskets, copper washers and the float needle
