02 door panel rechroming the plastic??

A search should turn up a previous post.

But here goes:

Take the panels off, lay them flat where you can work on them

Scrape off the old peeling chrome, I did it with a utility knife scraping with the razor blade backwards, if that makes any sense, the cutting edge kinda dragging along.

Clean it with alcohol, being careful to keep the alcohol off of the vinyl.

Then cut a strip of chrome mylar wide enough to cover the curved area. Remove the backing as you press it down along the piece you are chroming. Then carefully trim the new mylar along the edge leaving enough to wrap around the reveal.

Be sure to get your Mylar from Prism Graphics in Seattle, a web search will turn them up. The mylar they sell is thin enough to wrap around the edges and stick, thicker mylar will "pop-up" on the edges. The fellow/owner there knows exactly how much you need.

Now that you have gotten this far, you can figure out the rest. A little heat from a heat gun will settle the edges down a bit.

Your work will look this good or better:
