the Antique Car show next weekend so I decided to give her the Vintage Look - the way she looked when she left Germany 34 years ago!

Which wheels do you think look better on her? The modern ones or the vintage 'Turbo look alikes'

I have to be honest, they both look very nice. Where did you find the look alikes?

The wheels were with the car when the 1st owner bought it in NY in 1974. The guy I bought the car from included them in the deal.

Personally I like the original ones for what you are intending to show. Just a tip - use a sponge with a little vinal protectant when applying it to the tires (I use about 1 squirt on the sponge as you don't need much to cover a large area) - doesn't give them that 'wet' look but makes them appear pretty much new.
