anyone here ever convert an m10 to run hydrogen? ever see, hear, think about it? i think a 1.6L m10 with MS-II powered on hydrogen would be somthin real special EH? any insights?.. questions..concerns ?

for a plug and play kit or add on that would be mass produced i agree but as far as a personalized project that will require fab 1 way or the other i think hydrogen would be as easier, if not worth the extra efforts.

and how do you mean H2 isnt readily available? its easy enough to produce and i could buy "3 nines" h2 at a local welding shop for dirt cheap until i have the means to produce.

Pure hydrogen is VERY explosive. Are you sure about using it for a welding gas?? It wants to combine with oxygen in a big way and liberates a fair bit of energy in the process.

i'm thinking you are confusing Hydrogen with the Noble gases such as He, Ar, Ne etc. Argon is used as a shield gas during welding. Never heard of Hydrogen for that purpose. In fact hydrogen embrittles steel.

the Hindenburg was filled with hydrogen when it exploded on its first trans-atlantic flight. they use helium now i think.

oh, okay. i stand corrected. however, it's certainly not pure H2. thanks. learned something new. we use Argon where i work.
