Looks very very nice. It will be interesting to see how well the engine compartment cleans up. Keep us posted. Bringing it down to Bimmerfest??

Since I'm in the SF Bay Area, I'll just be at the Bay Area 02 Show in Brisbane this May.

I have a few things to tackle first though. The engine's really smooth, but the tranny needs the linkage rebuilt and perhaps a 2nd gear synchro as you have to double-clutch when downshifting from 3rd to 2nd. It probably wouldn't hurt to throw in a new clutch at that time too. It also needs fresh pads and I'll do some SS brake lines also. Then, I'm gonna go through the interior-new door panels, tighten up the center console, Recaros and a 380mm Nardi Classic. I'll clean the bejesus out of the original carpet and see what happens. It seems like it will clean up OK. Then a new gasket and glass for the original trapezoidal mirror and hopefully I'll be whistlin' Dixie fer a while...
