basic carb question (silly almost)

I want to ask a very basic (dumb) question. speed screw= throttle adjusting screw and mixture screw=Idle Adjusting Screw? Is this correct, because on the parts list I have there isn't a mixture or speed screw listed...I just wanted to make sure-feel like a heel for asking but I really don;t want to be turning the wrong screws and then become screwed

There's no such thing as a stupid question.

You have it right.

The screw whose end rests against the throttle stop (where the accelerator linkage joins the carb base) is whatcha turn to increase or decrease the idle speed.

The screw that's in the base of the carb itself is the idle mixture adjustment screw that enrichens or leans the air/gas mixture to smooth out a lumpy idle.

Keep in mind that the "idle" circuit in a carb is what your gas/air flows through up to about 2500 rpm, until the main jet circuits take over, so this screw can affect running up to that speed, not just your at-rest idle.
