Bressel Weber Carbs?

Can some one tell me what Bressel Weber Carbs are?

Are they the same as Weber?

brosol is a brazilan copy used mainly of vw bugs. brasov is a weber licensee built in eastern europe, they mainly build carbs for the engines on light armored personell carriers or tanks.

Good answer. Was going to say the same thing. But the poster said "Bressel" wonder if this is a third possibility or sloppy typing.

bressel is a weber licensee and is manufactured in spain. remember all the newer weber carbs were made in spain so this company probably made it for weber. there are cheaper weber copies made by rochester for ford and ones from china which are recent and sell for a third of what a real weber sells.

Bressel is the factory in Spain that made Weber Carbs for Spanish made cars. Now all the Weber carbs are made there. They are fine.

This is an interesting picture. It shows the Ford factory tag on a Bressel Carburetor. Shows that Weber was supplying Ford from more than just Italy

Bressel was licensed to sell Webber carbs in europe. They are stamped right on them "Bressel, Licensed by Webber. Made in Spain." They are legit Webber carbs, made in Spain

weber has 1 b . All the Weber carbs are made at the Bressel factory

And don't forget that the german Weber Importer VGS sends 20%-30% of the Spanish made Carbs back and reworks the rest as they are not up to their quality standards.
