What metal is a `74-`76 bumper made of?

I just looked closer at my bumpers....both US and Euro, and it does look like there is some kind of aluminum "cladding" on them. What do you all think??

to prove your conclusions you're gonna have to show a pic of a sliced, big bumper...cut one in pieces, show us the other metals in there and you'll have buyers...short of that assumptions, beliefs and theories are cheap

Drat....quest for truth in bumpers foiled again.....I assume that your tin lizzy had the Barbeque Grill option just above the cladded portion of the bumper.....thats great Ha Ha Ha Ha........and the pictures are quite stunning......gotta get a digi cam.....
