When you changed the fronts did you reverse the calipers the bleeders must point up been there done that.....Marty.....

no improvement, I would suspect the M/C. I had exactly the same symptoms and went thru the same tests you did. Knew it couldn't be the M/C--it had only 30k on it. It turned out to be the M/C--internal leak--fluid passing a seal but not leaking externally.

A new M/C cured the problem/symptoms.

We thought we had bought a new FAG one, but when it failed just after 6 months of service, the supplier told it was in fact a rebuilt one, and that the warranty was only good for 6 months! So that's why they were cheaper!

Make sure you have the front calipers on the right sides. If you have them backwards, you will never be able to bleed them properly.

There has to be a nipple at the top, and that needs to be the last bled. If you have your nipples on the bottom, you get air trapped at the top, and all the bleeding in the world will not make it go away.
