Nardi steering wheel

hey folks, Is $280 too much to pay for a Nardi 390 mahogany three spoke steering wheel with the bmw button? I know I would have to purchase an adapter but I was just wondering on the price of the wheel. Its on ebay and they claim its a discontinued model that sold for $399.

But I bought one from the place I bought the wheel from, probably paid too much ($85) but I got a decent price on the wheel.

Be careful with that hub adapter!

I have broken the brass plunger for the horn on mine twice...by just installing it.

seems to me the plunger is either too long, or the spring is too short, or the housing is too weak...it pops out of the back.

Just FYI...

I will be careful, what was the fix? new pieces or an entire hub?

Superglue...the back of the plunger blew out the back.

I have contacted Nardi both via email and phone but no reply.

It seems like it would be easy to replace...
