WTB: Black seats (CT)

Folks,

Has anybody done a Recaro upgrade that has their stock seats "sitting" around? I have some E30 seats in the car right now that are just too tall- my head hits the roof.

Really, I'd be interested in anything black that will bolt in. I'd prefer them to be in presentable shape. They don't need to be perfect, but I'd like to bolt and drive for now.

I have a really nice set in the shed that belong to another FAQ'r. There is one rip that has been repaired, they are the earlier seats and have beautiful chrome sides. I'm pretty sure he wants to sell them but let me ask him and I will get back to you.

I also have two sets of recaros....
