Finally got around to tacking some pictures. No time to disassemble the whole thing, but hopefully you can get the idea from these shots.

In the two pictures above you can see the filter mounting arrangement. Hole drilled in the top of the filter, nut welded to the loop over the inlet on the airbox.

Here's a shot straight into the airbox where you can see some of the work done to adapt the bottom to fit over the brake booster (tii booster required here). The peaked section fits over the booster, and is connected to the end caps by flat section to clear the booster mounting bracket and the master cylinder. Seams are tack welded and sealed on the outside with epoxy.

This shows the rubber boot connecting the airbox to the airhorn on the carb.

Finally, two shots of the mounting bracket. It is a simple piece of barstock drilled at either end and bolted to the airbox, isolated with rubber washers. Two 90 degree angled pieces are welded upright to attach it to the strut brace bracket. If you don't have a brace, it could be made to attach to the strut top bolts.

Hope these help. Sorry for the delay.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.
