Che Bella! What did you do, soften the backdrop?

Dreamy02-1.jpg

Well, let me see if I can recall, despite the beers .. ;)

Slight crop off the bottom and convert to 300ppi with crop tool.

Adjust Levels.

Unsharp mask.

Blur tool on foreground and trees behind bridge.

Stamp tool to remove litter and distracting details on the ground.

Select car and its shadow with magnetic lasso with 0 feathering.

Save selection.

Invert selection.

Copy and paste into new layer.

Add way too much Gaussian blur to new layer.

Pull back opacity in layer window to find right amount of softening.

Adjust saturation of new layer.

Reload car selection.

Dodge tool on areas of car to bring further into foreground.

Adjust levels of car again.

Blur tool on trees in windows.

Touch up as needed.

Add Lens flare in new layer.

Flatten into one layer and save as .jpg.

Just that easy!!

2002 newbie, and dead serious about it.
