WTB: Chrome dash (nt)

This would definitely be a "one off" and seriously very custom. All 2002s I've ever seen had black vinyl as dashboards.

Good luck finding a chrome one.

mac.

PS. Maybe you could use "chrome" contact paper and cover the one you have.

The main upper section is the same as a 68-70 1600 or 2002 (3pc dash), with a small exception. The cluster cover on the 67 is smaller than a 68+, so if you put the 67 cluster cover on a 68+ upper dash you can see part of the indent from the 68+ cluster cover in the upper dash. Its very minor but I have this situation myself. Or you could use a 68+ cluster cover as well. Luckily I have a mint 67 upper dash to install to fix that.

Also, the chrome pieces are now avail from BMW MT, $70 each x 4. Cheaper than having them re-chromed but the quality is not as good as the originals. I got the two real metal parts (glovebox and ashtray) re-cromed locally for $75 total.

Just to follow-up on the chrome plastic pieces, had the four pieces rechromed along with the three guage rings, total with return shipping was under $300 from CVPlaters, very pleased with the results
