idle jet clogged AGAIN

before doing that, try this:

clean out the idle jets again.

Remove the screen filter in the fuel pump and clean it thoroughly.

Finally, install a fuel filter upstream of the fuel pump (presuming you still have your mechanical pump).

I'd guess you have crud in the fuel pump that's past the fuel filter.

with decent mechanical skills how long would you say it would take to pull, clean, and reinstall the gas tank.

Love the question. What is your definition of decent mechanical skills? Some mechanics are really adept at using both a flat head screw driver and a claw hammer. Then there are those with the innate ability to use seafoam! lol
