OK, here's the 911 and its 2.8 short stroke twin plug motor.

And here is my 914-6. It's a factory six from 1970, with steel GT flares and a factory 2.2S MFI motor with bumped compression. It makes 170hp at the wheels and weighs a smidge over 2,000 lbs with 225 R compound rubber at all four corners.

I think a nice worked 914/6 is still undervalued and under appreciated.

I had a '71 911 hot rod a few years ago and I'm sorry I sold it. It went to a good home in Australia and has competed in the Targa Tasmania Tarmac Rallye.

2.7RS with TWM Throttle Bodies and Autronic engine managment. It was a hoot!

My car is Signal Orange, which is its original color. I agree that real six's are undervalued and they are a kick in the butt to drive. Of course the bone stock ones will be the best investments, but I like driving my flared and hot rodded car.

Your targa looked nice. It must have been a fun ride. I considered EFI for my 2.8, but decided I wanted to stick with the period look and went with PMO 46's. I then modifed the stock air cleaner setup to work with the PMO's.

The 911 was a blast. I'm curious to see how the M2 i'm building will compare.
