I have used cam gears...$12 shipped to eastern 1/2 US.....but i have to ask...why put in a Used gear

i nvr knew there was something bad with using used gear opposed to buy new?

would it be better to get new ones? i thought these things supposed to last forever in a sense

The choice is yours of course, I'm sorry, but even tho, I have chains from the dismantled motors, they have not been kept wih the same cam, and crankshalf gears. Timing parts are some of the most worn parts in any engine, as the timing chain runs it wears, just like a chain on a bike,I'll have to be honest, if your going to change this gear, call Bavarian autosport at 800-535-2002 ext 1241 and have Gordon sell you a new set, so it doesn't fly apart and ruin something big..sincerly an 02 friend N.C.
