30 years ago today...

I bought my first 02, a Malaga 73, which I still own. That car put me on a path to who I am today, whether that is good or bad can be debated.

I have since owned over 40 02s due to the necessity of owning a parts car to keep the other one going.

I am a BMW dealer tech because I had to fix that car myself, then everybody elses 02, then all the local 3,5,7s.

I picked my wife up while driving my golf 72.

I have lots of pleasant 02 related memories, and not many bad ones.

I wouldn't change a thing except maybe not passing on the few 02s I didn't buy.

That's amazing number of '02's. My first experience was in a '72 Golf '02. You can work on mine any time you like.....
